LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON

SALT LAKE CITY, UT

2016 - 2019

Singletrack Trails worked in partnership with Trails Utah, Salt Lake City Climbers Alliance, and Access Fund Conservation Alliance to help rebuild the Grit Mill climbing access trail.

This project has been ongoing since 2016 and our crews have been laying down rock, after rock, after giant rock in order to restore and solidify access to climbers in Little Cottonwood Canyon.

We built stair after stair after stair. So. many. stairs.

This project was really unique because we partnered with a bunch of amazing organizations like the US Forest Service to keep access open to some of Utah's most iconic climbing routes. We also designed and built belay pads to improve safety and accessibility below each route.
