POWDERHORN BIKE PARK

The vision of this project has been to draw Grand Valley and additional tourist mountain bike trail users in an effort to expand the resort’s revenue generating season.

Initially, Singletrack Trails worked with Powderhorn Mountain Resort to construct its first two lift-served mountain bike trails, one black diamond and one blue square trail. Later we assisted with the planning and design of an additional 30 trail segments for future expansion.

Presently we continue to develop world-class lift supported mountain bike flow trails for a variety of user skill levels. Working on the Grand Mesa means building trails upon rock with little to no soils. Winter comes early. We often find ourselves building on frozen rock in the Spring. With some hustle and warm jackets, we make it happen.
