Located above beautiful Salida, Colorado, the South Fooses Trail consists of premier MTB, hiking, and equestrian terrain in Central Colorado. South Fooses is a popular descent off the Monarch Crest, as well as a segment of the famed Colorado Trail. Singletrack Trails was contracted to replace an unsustainable and damaged 1.5 mile segment of the existing 6 mile trail, resulting in 2.5 miles of new trail construction toward the top of the existing trail. Construction is ongoing and is set to be completed in October of 2022.
